The restoration of the ground floor has preserved the property's rich historical character, adorned with antiques and tasteful furnishings. Both reception rooms boasts an original fireplace, perfectly suited for cozy winter evenings, while on balmy summer nights, guests can savour drinks on the garden terrace as they soak in the sunset or savour the serenity of the landscaped garden and shimmering pool. Upon arrival, a warm reception awaits, including an exclusive opportunity to explore the wine cellar, stroll through the vineyard, and taste our award-winning Shiraz (by appointment). For the convenience of our guests, a well-equipped business nook offers complimentary WiFi throughout the house. This stunning five-bedroom country house is an ideal sanctuary for a romantic escape, a hub for venturing into the Winelands, or an exclusive venue for weddings, family celebrations, and friends' reunions. The Groenberg Reserve and Bainskloof Pass are a mere 10-minute drive away, while the picturesque Paarl awaits just 20 minutes by car. For those seeking adventure, we can easily arrange golf outings, horseback riding, wine tasting, and cycling expeditions through our on-site country house manager. Children aged 10 and above are welcomed, and when the property is booked exclusively, guests of all ages are embraced.

Wellington is home to the biggest vine nursery in the Southern hemisphere so regardless of where our guests chose to drink their wine; chances are it was born in Wellington!
