Family Friendly Farm! Come and enjoy nature and have fun with your kids. We are proudly eco friendly, and we are off grid and supply our own water. Enjoy hiking and cycling with the family. The property is 800 hectares and all areas of the farm is available to all guests to explore. Bring your tekkies and bikes and hike up and down the big rocky mountains! Here are 15 self-catering family units, comfortably furnished and each equipped with all the necessities. Each of the rooms can accommodate between 2 and 5 guests and is serviced daily.

ATTRACTIONS

About half of the plant species here, do not occur anywhere else in the world. When the winter rains fall, the farm and surrounding granite boulders, are wrapped in a floral blanket which creates the most beautiful floral spectacle in the world. With nearly 3,000 plant species, including goat bark vygies, daisies, Gazania's, cat tails and so on, the area will amaze you! Guests can walk around the farm and enjoy the scenery. Climb the granite hills and seek out the mysterious Klipspringers and the baboons, who make the mountains their home, or walk in the dry riverbanks, looking for the speckled padloper, while the floral kingdom is admired.Jakkalswater is, of course, a destination of its own, but also offers guests an ideal overnight option, on-route to Namibia, the Richtersveld and the northern west coast of South Africa.
