We are passionate about the environment and aim to be completely off-grid. Our solar heating provides year long power, and even pushes electricity back to the grid. We harvest rainwater for house consumption. Our water system have 3 levels of filtration, and ensures you have the highest quality fresh water. The rest of Struisbaai buy water, you have a higher quality just opening your tap. Your hair will love you! We have an environmentally friendly septic tank, that uses a natural filtration system to minimize pollution. and environmentally friendly LPG gas. You will always have hot water, and be able to cook, despite unreliable power cuts.

Struisbaai is a quaint, quiet village, that offers a tranquil break for most of the year, yet in the holiday season of December the bustling vibe of holidaymakers lets the whole place come alive.

ATTRACTIONS

Holiday in the unique setting of the southern tip of Africa, doing deep sea angling, shore fishing, whale watching, kite surfing, walks in the beautiful nature reserves, and so much more. Enjoy South Africas largest beach 14kms of uninterrupted white sand. Many outdoor events, such as mountain biking, angling competitions, marathons etc are held throughout the year. Nearby attractions include the Mond Nature Reserve, Waenhuiskrans tidal caves, Agulhas tidal pools, Trips to the Oystercatcher winery, Elim, Gansbaai, & picturesque Baardskeerdersbos. The Agulhas National Park is 5kms away, as is the Cape Agulhas Lighthouse.
