Taaibos Bush Lodge

OVERVIEW

Taaibos Bush Lodge is situated in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate (645 hectares) where animals roam freely. Guests will often spot giraffes, zebras, kudu, impala, warthog, waterbuck and nyala. Occasionally hyena, leopard, and caracal visit the estate. Each luxury self-catering open-plan chalet has an extra-length king-size bed facing the bush; the king-size bed can be converted into twin beds. Next to the bed is a wardrobe and a dresser table. On the other side, you'll find a separate lounge area with a Smart TV. The bathroom is luxurious with a free-standing bath and 2 separate showers (a rain-head shower inside, and a private outdoor shower with a bush view). Each unit offers a well-equipped kitchenette that contains a microwave, an oven, a hot plate to cook meals on, and a bar fridge. Each chalet offers privacy and features a partly covered deck with a lounge area. The lodge boasts breakfast buffet, solar back-up electricity, free limited Wi-Fi, an outdoor pool, a bar, as well as a social lounge, and a dining area. There is boma and firepit braai/bbq where some meals can be enjoyed under the starry night sky

The Taaibos Bush Lodge is perfectly situated when you want to stay in the bush, but at the same time, to be close to everything that Hoedspruit and its surroundings have to offer. Do you want to go on a game drive and try to spot the Big 5? A ranger will pick you up at the lodge and in 15 minutes you'll be in the Greater Kruger. We can arrange all kinds of activities for you, from helicopter flights in the Blyde River Canyon, to a scenic day trip on the Panorama Route. Rather stay close to the lodge? Treat yourself to a relaxing massage treatment, right on the deck of your own chalet. Or go out and about on one of our bicycles and explore the estate on a bike safari. Like to go on a horseback safari? The riding school and stables are situated around the corner.
