The Hank Guesthouse

The Hank Guesthouse is a lovely guest house located in the Free State's Bethlehem, a picturesque little village. There are various en-suite guestrooms available for lodging. The Hank Guesthouse had its origin due to a dream of the owner, who had a vision to create spacious, luxurious and comfortable accommodations for guests visiting the town, as well as parents with children in hostels. This is a strictly non-alcohol establishment, we proud ourselves in providing safe and tranquil accommodation for all. Even though Bethlehem is a crucial town for the Free State, it has largely gone unnoticed because it is neither large enough to be included in the well-known "village society" of Ficksburg, Fouriesburg, Clarens, and Rosendal, nor small enough to challenge Bloemfontein for prominence. The town is the major commercial centre in the eastern Free State and is named after the historical Bethlehem—not for the birth of the mythical Jesus, but for its ability to grow wheat. It is located in the centre of the wheat belt of the Free State, with its rich soil producing an abundance of wheat crops and sunflowers. Situated near the N5, it is at the south of the Rooiberg Mountain on the Liebenbergs River.
