Whale Rock Luxury Lodge in Hermanus is close to the New Harbour, within sight and 200m of the sea, and a few minutes drive from the centre of town. With the new Villa, the Lodge now offers 17 en-suite rooms & suites devided over 3 buildings, extensive gardens and two salt water swimming pools, make it a must for the discerning traveller. The 17 en-suite rooms and suites come with choices of king or twin beds elegantly decorated in a contemporary style provide luxurious and spacious accommodation. AREA INFORMATION

Whale Rock Luxury Lodge is located at the Westcliff end of Hermanus and is central to every activity in and around the town. On the doorstep you will find the New Harbour with its fabulous restaurants and night life. Two minutes walk will see you at the start of the cliff path for which Hermanus is famous and from where Southern Right whales can be seen lolling between the months of July and November. Three minutes by car and you're in the centre of town where you can browse the interesting speciality stores or sit down to a delicious meal at any of the wonderful restaurants.

Whale Rock Luxury Lodge is the perfect base from which to explore the Overberg. You will be delighted to find distances to Stanford, Arniston, Agulhus, Greyton, Betty Bay, Pringle Bay and Gansbaai within easy reach of the Lodge. We offer a booking service for all activities like whale watching (by foot, boat or air), Great White Shark cage diving, 4x4 trails, hiking trails, horse riding, birding, sea kayaking and we can book you a tee-time at the beautiful Hermanus Golf Club, Championship Course at Arabella GC or Kleinmond GC. We are also happy to help with onward travel.
