Mamorena was very welcoming and gave me and upgrade which I was very grateful for the place was spotlessly clean. I enjoyed hiking on the farm. Johan gave me a link for the map but I would prefer a had copy as the weren’t many makings on the trail and no reception for CellC. They have good reception for other networks apparently. Sometimes it was rather noisy with kids camping near by with loud music a loud phoophy slide machine and weed eaters. As a naturalist I would have preferred more natural grassland and bush near the cottage rather than expensive lawns. I did enjoy the bush and the mountain for my walks and appreciated that they gave me a radio in case I get to any trouble or get lost on my walks. Every was very friendly.

Johan and Jeanette are amazing hosts! They made us feel so welcome. They live on a beautiful farm, with plenty of opportunity to do walks and hikes. We has dinner there and it was the best T-bone we’ve ever eaten! We’ve ever eaten can highly recommend their spot.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were in need of getting away and putting our feet up to relax. Johan was very friendly and had many suggestions about activities in his farm. Bonus is that there is a restaurant and a bar on the premises and we took advantage.
