Bothabelo Bed and Breakfast is the place to be! Luxurious accommodation located less than 2 km from the world-famous Kruger National Park gate is not only what we offer, we are also known for the peacefulness and the accommodating staff! We arrange safaris into Kruger National Park, may it be on foot, open-vehicle, or riverboat safaris. Bothabelo Bed and Breakfast rooms vary from Standard Rooms to Luxury Rooms. Each room has a private entrance, en-suite bathroom, TV, and air-conditioning. Bothabelo Bed and Breakfast is a proud member of the Baphalaborwa Association. Our vision is to offer comfortable accommodation and warm hospitality and aims to be the largest broad-based economic empowerment business in Limpopo.

Phalaborwa is a town situated in the Mopani District Municipality, Limpopo province, South Africa. It is located near the confluence of the Ga-Selati River and the Olifants, halfway up along the eastern border of the Kruger National Park in the Lowveld.

This is the original & best sundowners cruise on the river. * Tour of the Amarula Lapa where Amarula Cream Liqueurs are made from the local Marula fruit. The Lapa is a promotional tasting facility that offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy an ice cold glass of Amarula Cream whilst learning more about the history and uses of the legendary Marula tree as well as the versatility of the product at hand. * Cultural tour including a visit to a traditional healer and tribal dancing. Tours are led by trained guides along a winding path through the bush and past fields where crops are grown. Share your experience with our resident Giraffe, Hippo, Crocodiles and many other permanent residents! * Open Pit View point of the mine - Phalaborwa Open Pit Mine is South Africa's largest open pit mine and copper and vermiculite are extracted here. You can drive through the mine operations and up a hill beside the open pit to get a good perspective of its size and the rest of the operations. * Cheetah breeding project- The Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre focuses on the conservation of rare, vulnerable or endangered animals. Cheetah Conservation is one of their core disciplines. * Swadini reptile park- Experienced handlers will show you some of Southern Africa's most deadly snakes, including Black and Green Mambas, Boomslang, Mozambiquan Spitting Cobras, Puff Adders and Vine Snakes.There are Nile Crocodiles and Water Lizards (Leguaan) as well as an amazing display of reptiles and amphibians from the rest of the world. * Blyde River Canyon- The Blyde River Canyon is the third deepest canyon in the world. Blyde Canyon cuts through the Drakensberg Mountain Range, one of the seven major mountain systems in Africa. The botanical wonders of these high altitude afromontane forests can be witnessed while walking some unforgettable trails laid out under the forest canopy. * Three Rondavels- Exactly as they sound, the Three Rondavels are three round mountain tops with slightly pointed tops, very similar to the traditional round or oval African homesteads made with local materials called rondavels. An outlook that is overwhelmingly beautiful and deserves more than a moment's respite. * Animal Rehabilitation Centre- A home for many of South Africa’s abandoned, injured and poisoned wildlife and a highly regarded contributor to wildlife education in our country. Our unique Rehabilitation Centre is home to many animals and birds, Some of them are the rescued Lions from an Egyptian Circus; Queen the Crowned Eagle and Chui the Leopard. * Magoebaskloof canopy tours and adventures- Experience the thrill of sliding through the forest on a 2 ½ hour Tarzan and Jane style adventure! Magoebaskloof Canopy Tours will take you into a previously inaccessible realm of nature, moving you between platforms built high within the upper level of indigenous forests and ancient mountain cliffs. * Modjadji cycad- Visitors can view the largest concentration of a single cycad species in the world. When mist does not obscure the view, the visitor gazes over the cycad forest to the Lowveld and the Kruger National Park. * Elephant back safaris- During the elephant-back safari, guests are seated on comfortable canvas-covered saddles positioned behind an experienced elephant hander. From this vantage point, they are able to view game from close proximity as the elephants move silently and in single file through the bush. * AGATHA crocodile ranch- We offer daily tours and feeding shows between 09:00 and 16:00, Monday to Sunday. The tours last about 1 to 1½ hours and we promise to bring you some great excitement. * Bird Watching- Deep in the bushveld of South Africa, away from bustling cities and noisy streets, you’ll find a plethora of birdlife with a variety of colors that no artist’s palette could cover. South Africa affords you an incredible selection of bird watching opportunities. From man made aviaries, to birding in the bushes, South Africa offers the bird watching experience of a life time.
