At Cape Capsules Backpackers we offer you the full Muizenberg experience, in our quaint bohemian seaside village. Experience a beautiful beach for surfers and swimmers. Situated right opposite East Beach, Kitesurfer's Paradise. Stroll down to Surfers Corner to visit our pubs, clubs and restaurants, a 5-minute walk from us. Or take a stroll down to St. James Tidal Pool or venture further into Kalk Bay and experience Cape Town cuisine, artwork and thrift shops by the dozen. We offer breakfast / sandwiches and great pizza nights for all staying guests, including vegans, situated on our premises, we only offer meals to guests not to outsiders. An abundance of comfortable communal spaces for work or relaxation. Or just cook your own meal in the self-catering kitchen. Perhaps come and have a great coffee with Freshly baked Muffins or Cake of The Day - in the Dining Room. We rent out surfboards, wetsuits and mountain bicycles at Cape Capsules Back Packers there is always someone friendly to lend you an ear or just chill listening to good beats. Cape Capsules Backpackers offer comfy secure sleeping arrangements, either in a capsule or a room. Dorm 1 UNDER THE SEA contains 4 Standard Single Capsules and 2 Basic Extra-length Capsules. The Standard Single Capsules are equipped with a single mattress as well as all your linen, duvet cover and pillow plus a towel. Inside your capsule, you have USB port plugs, an electronic safe, hangers and a welcome coffee/tea pack. Your capsule is lockable and comes with an additional locker. Two of the capsules are on top and accessed by a ladder. The Basic Extra-length Capsules are equipped with additional space for the taller individuals, all your linen, duvet cover and pillow plus a towel. Inside your capsule, you have USB port plugs, an electronic safe and hangers. Your capsule is lockable and does not have an additional locker. One of these capsules is on the top and is accessed by a ladder. Dorm 2 OCEAN VIBES contains 4 Economy Double Capsules that our Capsules ( 9 & 10) - 7 & 8 is rented out for 1 large person on a three-quarter mattresses these capsules. All your linen, duvet cover and pillows plus 2 towels are provided, and inside your capsule, you have USB port plugs, an electronic safe, and hangers. Your capsule is lockable and does come with a locker. Two of these capsules is on the top and is accessed by a ladder no's 7 and 8. All the capsules share bathroom facilities. The Family Room/Octopus Room is ideal for a family or buddies bunking together. The room offers great sleeping arrangements and has a private exit to the back terrace. Kitted with all linen and duvets extra blankets for winter and towels, the room also has enough plugs for electronic equipment, an electronic safe and a hairdryer. All the rooms make use of shared bathrooms, and shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, earbuds, and toilet paper, free condoms are also provided. Shortly this room will have its own en-suite bathroom (pls check with us but we estimate by end of November 2024). The backpackers offer a communal, shared kitchen with a air fryer, and a 2 x fridges. The lounge have a TV with Netlfix and an after-hours honesty bar with drinks and snacks. Coffee and tea are provided 24 hours via Honesty Bar. Wi-Fi is available. Communal braai facilities are available. Guests can enquire about the laundry service, and visit the tour desk for information about the area. Strictly no eating or smoking with rooms, capsules & building - smoking areas are outside and 420 friendly. When visiting, remember, what happens at the Capsules stays at the Capsules…
