The Dargle Campsite is a picturesque, tranquil and shaded campsite located in Dargle, an area of lush greenery and natural beauty amid the Midlands Meander in the Natal Midlands. It is ideal for a peaceful camping trip with family or friends.
Two of the five shaded demarcated stands are ideal for a caravan and three ideal for a tent. Campers must provide their own caravans / tents, camping equipment, lighting, and head torches. Each campstand has electricity and is pet friendly, so you can bring your well-behaved fur kids along by arrangement.
The stands use a central communal entertainment area with dining tables, an unstocked bar with 2 stools, a dart board, and a chess set. A braai facility and fire pit are also available.
The communal ablution facility features showers and toilets. Gas geysers provide hot water.
Dargle Campsite is situated in Dargle, 7.2 km from Impendle Nature Reserve, 23 km from Umgeni Valley Nature Reserve, as well as 23 km from Howick Museum. The campground is 25 km from Howick Falls. King Shaka International Airport is approximately a one hour and 41-minute drive from Dargle via the N3.
Shopping malls in and around the area consist of The Falls Centre, St John's Lifestyle Centre, Valley View Shopping Centre, Midmarina Shopping Centre and Tweedie Junction.
