Karoo Retreat Gastehuisoffers self-catering and room-only accommodation and is located in central Oudtshoorn. The guest house offers a comfortable base from which to explore the town's surrounding attractions and facilities. Accommodation comprises Luxury Villas, Standard Double Rooms, Comfort Family Units, and a Two Bedroom Family Unit. Each option features a private bathroom and contains amenities such as air-conditioning, TV with selected DStv channels, small dining table/desk, tea- and coffee-making facilities, safety deposit boxes. The Luxury Villas, Standard Double Rooms, Comfort Family Units offer heat-and-eat appliances such as a microwave and a bar fridge. The Two Bedroom Family Unit can accommodate 4 adults or 3 adults and 1 child & features 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Karoo Retreat Gastehuis boasts a braai/BBQ area, free Wi-Fi, laundry services by arrangement, and free secure parking. Breakfast and lunch packs can be arranged at various extra costs. Well-behaved pets are welcome by arrangement. Important Notice:- All payments done at the guesthouse will be strictly card payments. All Transactions will be cashless. There are quite a few restaurants, shops, and other businesses nearby in the town centre. One can visit the ostrich farms in the area, or guests can go explore the Cango Caves that are situated 28 km away. Nearby activities include horse riding, bird watching, wine tasting, cycling, game drives, game viewing, guided walks, and mountain biking.
