Krugerskop-Kloof Wilderness Camp offers 5 bushcamp sites sleeping between 8 to 15 per site.
The campsites offer shade and are near the mountain stream. There are braai/BBQ stands at the campsite. Guests would need to bring their braai grid.
Communal cold shower facilities are also available to be enjoyed by guests.
Guests are required to bring their camping gear. There is no electricity at the campsite. A shared Wi-Fi zone is available at the campsite.
Parking is also provided.
Baviaanskloof is named after the baboons that roam the area. A mix of the Dutch word ‘baviaan' for baboon and the Afrikaans word ‘kloof' for ravine. It has recently been awarded a World Heritage Site status.
There is a gorge that lies in the valley, stretching for over 100 kilometres, between the Baviaanskloof Mountains to the north and the Kouga Mountains to the south.
The Kouga Wilderness lies in the incredible Kouga Mountains on the edge of the Baviaanskloof, advertised as the real outdoor experience. Visitors can enjoy rock climbing, fishing, watching birds, hiking and adventure on 4x4 routes. Baviaanskloof is malaria-free.
