The settlement of Musina is located in the northernmost region of the nation, in the Baobab Land. The border post with Zimbabwe, Beitbridge, is located about 15 kilometres north of the small town once known as Messina. It is certainly the busiest route in Africa, its connection to northern Africa is among the busiest worldwide. This region of the world is hot and dry, with low bushes and thorn trees dominating the environment. The Limpopo River flows along its riverbanks with water just once every seven years on average, despite the fact that the surrounding countryside is covered in date, citrus, mango, and tomato farms. The Musina tribe is responsible for the town's name.
