Peace Haven at Windfarm Accommodation offers private glamping tent accommodation on the West Coast with views of Table Mountain and Yzerfontein’s ocean. It is ideally situated between Yzerfontein and Darling, in an iconic location with the first four wind turbines installed in South Africa. Come unwind at our stylish relaxing accommodation in the bush. Each glamping tent is located approximately 80 m apart, ensuring privacy, and contains a queen-size bed or two single beds and a seating area. A stretcher for one child can be arranged. Each tent is equipped with an induction plate, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, cutlery and crockery. Each tent has its own outside braai area with two chairs. Electricity is available, even during load shedding. Guests have use of separate ladies and gents ablution facilities with baths and showers, toilets and washbasins. There is also a spacious communal entertainment area that has 2 pool tables that can be converted to dining tables, additional bench seating, a built-in braai and washing basin.
The property is big enough to enjoy hiking or running at your leisure. It is located 10 km from Yzerfontein and Darling and 70 km from Cape Town. The West Coast region is part of the Western Cape Province of South Africa. It is renowned for its 16 Mile Beach at Yzerfontein, the popular West Coast National Park and Langebaan Lagoon, while its inland attractions such as satirist Pieter-Dirk Uys “Evita’s Perron” at Darling and the spectacular Cederberg.
