Riverview is situated in the Kromdraai Conservation area, overlooking the Zwartkop Mountains and surrounding hills. With the Crocodile River just metres away, our guests can enjoy the unspoilt nature, bird life and peaceful atmosphere we are so famous for.
Less than 30 min away from Johannesburg, an hour’s drive from Pretoria and 20 minutes from Lanseria, Riverview is an ideal hideaway for family and friends, to spend some quality time together. Our romantic setting is perfect for spoiling that special person in your life enjoying some couples treatments, a private picnic at our various picnic spots, overlooking the river. The Riverview Spa offers the perfect opportunity to catch up with a friend, spend some valuable mother-and-daughter time, or well-deserved me-time.
Accommodation is offered in comfortably furnished chalets, each with a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, a lounge area with a TV with selected DStv channels, and a kitchenette fitted with a bar fridge, microwave, and a kettle. Our rooms, Number 1 and 7 consists of a bedroom and bathroom only, tea and coffee tray, small bar fridge, and microwave. Chalet 1 has a dining table inside as well as in the garden, where Chalet 7 has a dining table outside, on the veranda only.
For relaxation, guests can book a single spa treatment, half or full-day spa packages, which involve a 4 to 6-hour session with spa treatments. Please book this in advance to avoid disappointment. Breakfast is served between 08h30 until 10h00 and other delectable lunch meals are served in the coffee shop. Dinners are available and served in the comfort of your chalet. All dinners need to be pre-booked the day before. Guest enjoys going out for dinner in the evenings and we recommend the following restaurants: 26D South Bush Boho hotel (3km off site), Cardoso's Deck and Dam (5 km off site) and a variety of options at the Silver Star Casino (12km off site). Please note that all additional activities and restaurant bookings excluded from our rates - only Bed and Breakfast included. Own transport is essential. Muldersdrift, in the Gauteng Province of South Africa, is a picturesque rural area situated 27 km north-west of Johannesburg, between Johannesburg and the Magaliesberg mountain range.
Cradle Moon Conservancy is made up of the farms of Zwartkop and Driefontein incorporating Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge (the old Heia Safari Ranch), Ekudeni, Eduzani, Bell Gables, Aloe Ridge, Riverview Spa, Glenburn Lodge and Kloofzicht. This makes up an area of around 1600 hectares with rhino, leopard, eland, kudu, red hartebeest, black wildebeest, blue wildebeest, zebra, duiker, impala, springbuck, blesbuck, brown hyena, jackal and aardwolf.
