Close to nearby attractions such as the Addo Elephant Park, Shamwari and Amakhala game reserve, the Green Tree Cottages offer a lovely centralised location to use as a hub to explore the wildlife gateway of the Eastern Cape and the pristine beaches of the Sunshine coast.

Our en suite cottages are spacious, with their own entrances, kitchenettes, private patios, air conditioners and barbeque facilities. They’ve been tastefully furnished to create a warm Southern African interior, with a homely, contemporary feel.
Complimentary Wi-Fi, secure parking, and a shared swimming pool are also available to our guests during their stay, and we have a generator for when we experience load-shedding.
Feel free to make use of the pool, explore our safe and beautiful farm, witness the dairy operations or admire the bird and animal life, which includes duiker, bushbuck, warthog and kudu. The Dorper sheep are Stud animals and the little lambs are always a highlight. Guests are also encouraged to bring their mountain bikes and cycle on the farm or be adventurous and do some “Bundu Bashing” if they have a 4x4 vehicle!
The somewhat obscure little village of Nanaga scores by dint of the fact that it is ideally placed on the South African map. Not only is it virtually just outside the Greater Addo Elephant Park, but it is also a short drive from the Sunshine Coast and other malaria-free safari game reserves.
The village offers a certain peacefulness, not least because of the country air and star-filled nights away from the mania of city life. This is the country of the dairy farmer and wildlife game farm. Rolling hills provide numerous hikes and the Alexandria forest trail is just outside the town.
