Uitvlugt Resort is a unique hideaway and offers the perfect spot for you to enjoy many fun activities to keep the whole family entertained. Active guests can play a round of WildGolf, go mountain biking, hiking along the Elands River, play Pool Volleyball, or try your luck with Species Fishing. For a slower pace, try nature walks, bird watching, go on a game drive or simply relax at the sparkling pool. And, as the sun goes down, retreat to the comfort of your unique, colonial style chalets or campsite to enjoy the sunset while sipping a refreshing cold beverage around your private campfire. The Resort has so many additional hidden gems which you need to experience through more than just words and pictures. Accommodation consists of 7 beautiful stone and thatch cottages, 12 Private ablution camp sites, 8 shared ablution camp sites, 4 off grid camp sites and dorm rooms. The cottages are loose standing units located far enough apart to offer occupants total privacy. Dining- and sitting area. Fully equipped, self-catering kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, dining utensils, etc. Thatched covered patio with outdoor furniture and braai/barbeque/boma stand. Linnen, bath towels and toiletries supplied. (Swimming pool towels not supplied. Guests to bring their own). Some units with covered vehicle parking. No cigarette or vape smoking allowed. Daily serviced except Sundays and Public holidays. The Private Ablution Campsites are large 12 x 12mtr stands with hot water, lockable bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. Toiletries supplied. Private, lockable kitchen with double stainless-steel basin and ample stacking space. Each stand has an outside cold watter fossette, wheely dustbin and loose standing braai/barbeque/boma. (No private bomas allowed) No cigarette or vape smoking allowed. The shaded, Shared Ablution Campsites is iIn close proximity to the wash-up area with hot water, stainless steel basins and male- and female ablution block with showers, baths, basins and toilets. Toiletries supplied. Each stand has an outside cold watter fossette and loose standing braai/barbeque/boma. (No private bomas allowed) No cigarette or vape smoking allowed. The Off Grid Camp Sites are set far apart on the bank of Elands River, away from the main lodge but still within walking distance. Dustbin and loose standing braai/barbeque/boma stand. (No private bomas allowed) The Dormitory Rooms consists of four separate rooms, ranging in capacities, housing backpacker travelers, church groups, school groups, etc. which are perfect for an unfussy group getaway. Rooms are equipped with twin set stacker beds. Accommodates male and female guests separately each with their own gender shared ablution facilities. One two sleeper room for supervisors with its own separate bathroom. A fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals and an enclosed boma with braai. Ideal for backpackers, adult or scholar groups. No cigarette or vape smoking allowed.
